Gracia : encouraging her abilities, supporting her education
Gracia’s strong school results brought her to the attention of the Catherine Kühn Foundation. They led to practical support for her education and well-being.
School fees, supplies and support for care: assistance tailored to her needs.
Recognising her abilities
Gracia is a pupil with a physical disability whose strong school results reflect her hard work and abilities. For her family, whose resources are limited, paying for her schooling is nevertheless a challenge.
When her results were brought to Manuella M. Santos’s attention, the Catherine Kühn Foundation decided to support her so she could continue her education in better conditions.
Practical support, at school and in everyday life
For the 2026–2027 school year, the Foundation covered Gracia’s school fees and the supplies she needs to learn. A Foundation representative also visited her at school with her classmates.
Schooling
School fees covered for the 2026–2027 school year.
Supplies
The materials she needs to learn.
Well-being
Support for care and additional follow-up.
Support tailored to her needs
Gracia uses a walking frame to get around. Her support combines help with schooling and attention to her well-being.
Beyond educational assistance, Gracia also receives support for care and follow-up for her well-being. This assistance addresses several of her needs, with attention to both her education and daily life.
Through this individual support, the Foundation seeks to help her remain in school and develop her abilities.
Supporting Gracia means giving her the means to keep learning and develop her potential.
Alongside Manassé
· Lomé, Togo
In August 2024, Manassé, a young boy living in an orphanage, needs surgery for a tumour on his head. When approached, the Catherine Kuhn Foundation funds the procedure and coordinates its organisation with the teams at the hospital in Lomé.
Professors mobilise to help. The operation is successful, thanks to their expertise and the Foundation’s support.
For Manassé, solidarity meant practical action and access to care.
