An approach based on needs and cooperation
To be relevant, a solidarity initiative must address a clearly identified need, take local realities into account and be supported by an organisation suited to its objectives.
The Catherine Kühn Foundation seeks to ground its work in dialogue, cooperation and responsibility.
The four principles
- Identify needs : understand the issues and expectations of the communities concerned.
- Develop appropriate responses : define objectives consistent with identified needs and available resources.
- Work with partners : seek the expertise and cooperation needed to implement initiatives.
- Report on actions : document activities and communicate available results transparently.
