I firmly believe that the circumstances of one’s birth, social environment or life’s difficulties should never determine the limits of what a person can become.
This conviction guides my commitment through the Catherine Kühn Foundation.
I believe that every individual has potential waiting to be realised, provided they have access to the opportunities, knowledge and support they need.
Education is central to this vision. It broadens minds, builds confidence and empowers people to shape their futures. Yet it cannot be separated from other fundamental needs: access to healthcare, adequate nutrition, dignity and economic independence.
I also hold a strong belief in the role of women in the development of our societies. When a woman gains access to education, resources and economic independence, the benefits often extend to her entire family and, beyond that, her community.
Through our Foundation, we aim to respond concretely to immediate needs while investing in solutions capable of transforming living conditions over the long term.
I believe in philanthropy that is deeply human, but also rigorous and results-oriented. A philanthropy that does more than alleviate today’s hardships: one that helps create tomorrow’s possibilities.
